Refund + Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, failed deliveries, proof of delivery, and disputes are handled.

Before driver accepts

  • Customers may cancel before a driver accepts the order. No driver cancellation payout is owed for pre-acceptance cancellations. If a payment was already collected, the delivery fee is eligible for a full refund, excluding any non-refundable payment processor fees if applicable.
  • Scheduled orders cancelled before a driver accepts remain eligible for the same pre-acceptance refund treatment — no cancellation payout to the driver applies.

After driver accepts

  • If a customer cancels after a driver accepts the order, the driver receives 50% of the flat delivery fee as a cancellation payout for the time reserved and preparation already committed. The applicable platform fee is deducted from the driver's cancellation payout gross.
  • Example: On a $20.00 flat pickup fee, the cancellation payout gross is $10.00. After the 10% platform fee ($1.00), the driver net cancellation payout is $9.00.
  • Before the accepted-order cancellation is submitted, the customer-facing app shows a cancellation-policy notice explaining the 50% driver payout and pauses cancellation until the notice has been displayed.
  • The remaining eligible delivery-fee balance may be refunded or credited after review. Store charges, item costs, special purchases, or third-party cancellation charges may not be refundable once incurred.
  • If the driver cancels before completing the delivery, the driver receives no cancellation payout from that order unless Grabbit4.me approves an exception in writing.

After pickup, failed handoff, or completion

  • Once a driver has traveled, waited, purchased items, attempted pickup, or attempted handoff, refund eligibility depends on the order timeline, proof photos, chat record, driver notes, and customer response.
  • No refund is guaranteed for inaccurate addresses, unreachable customers, missing ID, unsafe handoff conditions, prohibited items, or customer-caused failed delivery.
  • Completed orders may be reviewed through the contact/support process if the customer believes something went wrong.

Disputes and review

  • Order timeline, chat, proof photos, driver notes, payment records, and customer confirmation may be used to review disputes.
  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Timing depends on Stripe, the card network, and the customer bank.
  • Grabbit4.me may hold or adjust a driver payout while an order dispute, cancellation, or safety issue is being reviewed.
