Driver responsibilities for safety, vehicle compliance, customer communication, and delivery outcomes.
Driver certification
- Drivers certify that they have a valid driver license, a street-legal vehicle, and insurance coverage required for their work and location.
- Drivers accept responsibility for their own vehicle, driving conduct, traffic compliance, parking, citations, accidents, insurance, and delivery decisions.
- Drivers agree to keep their profile, availability, service area, phone number, and payment details accurate.
Delivery conduct and cancellations
- Drivers must not accept work they cannot complete safely, legally, and professionally.
- Drivers must communicate status changes clearly and may use chat/SMS/voice/video features as they are added.
- If a customer cancels after a driver accepts, the driver may receive 50% of the flat delivery fee, less the applicable platform fee, as a cancellation payout for time reserved and preparation already committed.
- Drivers should use proof of delivery and completion notes when needed to document the job.
Regulated orders
- Drivers must follow all applicable laws for age-restricted or regulated deliveries.
- Drivers must check ID at handoff when required and may refuse delivery if ID does not match, the recipient is not eligible, or the situation is unsafe.
- Drivers must not complete prohibited deliveries or bypass local licensing/compliance rules.
